AMEP - Alaska Manufacturing
Extension Partnership

Our Vision
The Alaska Manufacturing
Extension Partnership, Inc. (AMEP) vision is to establish a
sustainable base of manufacturing in Alaska which takes
advantage of Alaska’s strategic location, vast natural
resources, growing human resource base and rich cultural
heritage to meet the needs of the Alaskan and world markets.
The Alaska Manufacturing Extension
Partnership, Inc. (AMEP) is committed to developing the state’s
economy through the provision of technical, business and
economic training and assistance to Alaska’s small manufacturers
and to rural Alaskans producing, marketing, and distributing
Native art and other home-based manufactured products.

AMEP connects existing manufacturers with
national experts through the MEP network and through
regional and local networks. Local businesses use field engineers to gain improvements in productivity, reduce
costs, increase quality and build markets. |
|
Connecting rural communities with distant
markets through E-Commerce. This gives artisans and
home-based manufacturers higher profit margins, more control
over their business and greater customer feedback. |

We look forward to helping
Alaskan companies to generate the wealth that employs locals
and sustains communities and cultures across Alaska. See our
